On completion of this nearly one-year project, we reinvented 1,786 m2 in Paris’ 19th district. We realised the new headquarter offices of Adie (Association for the Right to Economic Initiatives), previously located at Boulevard Sébastopol.

The key challenge of these new offices was to bring together all employees on a single platform, who previously were dispersed over six different floors. Through co-creation workshops between employees, management and CDB teams, we guided our clients to a better understanding of the new modes of working in their future workspaces. These workshops proved a great success and several collaborators organised time for sharing and exchange among themselves, making it possible to perfect the details for these different spaces, including an informal zone of flex space named ‘The Hive’. These new open spaces encompassing 1,786 m2, thus, generated an enthusiasm to come together. For logistical purposes, some closed offices exist to accommodate management, but in a plan of versatility these are also convertible to meeting rooms. With the catchword sharing, Adie’s new offices are designed with common spaces, fostering lasting connections between employees through the cafeteria, comfortable meeting rooms and informal workspaces.

The new open space layout facilitates mixing and exchange. Another of Adie’s key challenges was recuperating the furniture from their old offices.

In an eco-responsible approach, it was the company’s wish to mix their already existing furniture with second-hand pieces in reusable and eco-design materials. In a true CSR approach, BlueDigo and LOUIS undertook to source these pieces. To this end, we respected not only Adie’s eco-conscious culture but also the colourful universe created for this new fit out.
